If you enjoy reading, this new blog is for YOU. As an author of lighthearted contemporary Christian romance, I’d like to share one of my novels with you. Please join me every day, Monday through Friday, and I will post chapters for your reading pleasure.
I believe God has called me to write Christian fiction according to His own purpose. You can read about my journey to writing HERE at my website.
The first book we will read together is called
Romance by Design.
The hero is an architect, so he designs buildings.
The heroine designs and makes pottery.
But beyond that, they both discover that God is
the Master Designer of every romance.
Here’s a short synopsis:
Goldie
Silversmith is a church secretary who longs to get out of the church office and
take a trip down to the altar. The only problem—she has no one to marry. Her
brother, Mike, keeps setting her up with blind dates, and Goldie wishes they
would stay blind! But one day Mike sets her up with a handsome, interesting,
charming guy whom she’s actually attracted to, only to find out…
To find out…what? You’ll have to read the story,
and the first chapter of Romance by Design begins tomorrow.
I’ll always welcome your comments, questions, or
suggestions. As the weeks go by, please let me know if you’re enjoying the
story.
Until tomorrow, God bless!
Welcome to ACFW. Your site looks great. If you have a chancce visit my new site at www.pennyfrostmcginnis.com. I am writing a contemporary women's fiction with a romance. Best wishes and happy writing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Penny! I looked at your site, and then joined as a Follower! God's best to you as you write Christian fiction!
DeleteHi Donna! Your ACFW post first attracted my attention because I have a good friend with your same name, but as far as I know, she hasn't started writing contemporary Christian romance (she prefers to read it). I have a series of what I call contemporary Christian romantic adventures and love to read other books in my same genre and encourage new writers. Romance by Design sounds right up my alley (no pun intended there) and I'll look forward to reading it. Your website looks fantastic. Congratulations! Many blessings.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words, JoAnn! And yes, there are a lot of Donna Robinsons in the world! About 2,000 in the U.S. alone. That's why I add my maiden name (Reimel-- pronounced RHYME-el) as an author. I hope you enjoy reading Romance by Design!
DeleteHey, Donna! Glad you joined ACFW! Your blog looks awesome! I'm sure you'll glean lots of visitors and readers!
ReplyDelete~Cecelia Dowdy~

DeleteBeautiful site! I want to hang out here all day, but alas, I have my own writing to do. Great job, Donna!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kathy!
DeleteNice job, Donna.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Davalyn, and thanks for joining my site!
DeleteThe story sounds wonderful. I Followed with Google, but sometimes I don't check my blog feed every day. I'd love to subscribe through email, which would insure that I read it everyday. But I didn't see an email option.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought.
Thanks for becoming a Follower, Andrea. I'll try to find out about an RSS feed, or whatever. (I am not a technical person!) I do hope you enjoy reading the story!
DeleteHi, Mom! Everything looks great! I hope you get tons of readers (including me, of course)!
ReplyDeleteJust checking to see if my pic will work...
ReplyDeleteLooks good, Holly! Thanks for your input!
